Folks, I need your collective wisdom…..

When I changed the pads on my TRP Spyre disc brakes I found that the 3mm hex adjustment bolt was totally rounded off and so won’t turn. As such, the new pads are fouling the disc on that side really badly so I’ve had to put the old pads back on.

The TRP distributer is local to me so I’m collecting a new bolt at the weekend however I’m now at a loss as to how I’m going to get the old one out. The normal way is to wind the bolt all the way in until it pops out of the inside.

I’ve considered tapping a larger hex key or torx key into the bolt, but from adjusting the other pads the bolts take some force initially to get them turning so I’m not convinced this will work…. any suggestions?
