We’ve seen lots of versatile bikes at the show this year, but the BMC Granfondo GF02 Disc pushes adaptability just a bit farther than most others. Sitting within the BMC ‘endurance’ line of road bikes, this rig looks to be just as home on long road rides, as it is on the cyclocross course. In addition to featuring rack and fender mounts, the triple-butted aluminum frame is UCI-approved for cyclocross racing.
The BMC Granfondo GF02 Disc shares the same frame design as the Granfondo GF01, but the GF02 enjoys more tyre clearance.
Boxy chainstays lead to vertical dropouts. Also visible are the fender mounts.
The aluminum BMC Granfondo GF02 Disc frame is all set for electronic shifting.
That little sticker proves this all-arounder has UCI approval to race cyclocross.
The BMC Granfondo GF02 Disc ships with either Shimano 105 or Tiagra.
Plenty of tyre clearance in the carbon fork…for your ‘cross or randonnée rubber. Note the front brake cable running through the top of the fork, inside the left fork leg.
