LoveCrossed To Return for its Second Year

With a tough course weaving around the grounds of, and quite close to, the historic 16th century Chavenage House in the Cotswolds area, the successful LoveCrossed will return for its second running on 31 January, 2016.

LoveCrossed

The Chavenage House is currently owned and run by professional NFTO rider James Lowsley-Williams and his family, and (among other things) is currently used as a shooting location for the Poldark television series on BBC. Its historical significance stems from the fact that the house was a key base for Oliver Cromwell during the English Civil War.

LoveCrossed

LoveCrossed will be the final round for the Western Cyclocross League. And in the spirit of its name, in addition to the usual individual racing and categories, LoveCrossed will include a Couple’s Relay that will see pairs racing for the honor of being crowned LoveCrossed King and Queen. Remember: The family that races together, stays together. The Bespoked bike show is sponsoring the Couple’s Relay with show tickets and merchandise as prizes.

LoveCrossed

Since the Chavenage House is also used for banquets and other events, it’s only fitting that post-race activities include a reception inside near its warm fires, while televisions will be broadcasting the Cyclocross World Championships live from Zolder, Belgium.
